 合理选择配电变压器的容量也十分重要，既不能造成配电变压器过负荷烧坏，也不能造成大马拉小车式的浪费。应根据用户负荷情况，统计容量，合理选择配电变压器容量。如：一台100kV·A的配电变压器，功率因数为0.85时，它能带85kW负荷。

    3、加强用电负荷的测量

    在用电负荷高峰期，应加强对每台配电变压器负荷的测量，必要时增加测量次数，对三相电流不平衡的配电变压器应及时调整，防止中性线电流过大容易烧断引线造成用户设备烧坏。

    4、避免在配电变压器上安装低压计量箱

    应逐渐撤除偏远山区配电变压器台区上安装的低压计量箱，尽可能改为室内安装，如前几年我局消灭无电乡时，为便于管理防止电量损失，对边远山区都安装了低压计量箱，由于长时间运行，计量箱玻璃损坏或配电变压器低压桩头损坏不能及时进行更换，致使因雨水等原因烧坏电能表引起配电变压器受损。

    5、合理配置配电变压器高低压熔断器熔体

    配电变压器高低压熔断器熔体配置不合理，容易造成配电变压器严重过载而烧坏配电变压器。高低压熔体配置应遵循：①容量在100kV·A以下的变压器配置2.0～3.0倍额定电流的熔丝体；②容量在100kV·A以上的变压器配置1.5～2.0倍额定电流的熔体；③低压侧熔丝应按额定电流稍大一点配置。

    6、不宜私自调节分接开关

    由于冬夏两季用电负荷的差异，电压高低略有差异，为达到电压的需求，有些农村电工随意调节分接开关而不进行相关测试，造成分接开关不到位，引起相间短路而烧坏配电变压器。

    7、配电变压器高低加装绝缘罩

    为防止自然灾害和外力破坏，必要时对道路狭窄的小区和森林保护区加装高低压绝缘罩，防止配电变压器上掉东西引起低压短路烧坏变压器。

    8、配电变压器高低压侧均应加装避雷器

    对多雷区配电变压器高低均应加装避雷器，避雷器质量不合格或故障时没有及时更换，易遭雷电袭击烧坏变压器。每年雷雨季节，应把避雷器送往修试部门试验合格后及时安装，禁止使用不合格的产品。

    9、定期测量配电变压器接地电阻

    配电变压器经长期运行（尤其是接地引线采用铝线代替）出现严重氧化，接地电阻增大，再加上地埋接地体锈蚀、断裂，造成中性点电位偏移，当雷击或过电压时，易引发事故。按规程接地装置应满足：100kV·A以下配电变压器接地电阻不大于10Ω，100kV·A以上配电变压器接地电阻不大于4Ω。

    10、加强日常管理

    定期巡视线路，砍伐树木，防止树枝碰在导线上引起低压短路烧坏配电变压器。工作人员对配电变压器缺乏日常管理使变压器长期缺油运行，呼吸器末安装或不及时更换硅胶，使配电变压器进水受潮，容易引发事故。配电变压器本身存在质量问题，由于配电变压器安装地点较远，有些施工人员擅自把未经试验的配电变压器投入运行，临时用电，而烧坏变压器。

    11、定期检查配电变压器低压引线

    严禁用导线自身做线鼻子，直接上到配电变压器低压桩头上，要定期检查、坚固引线与配电变压器桩头的接点，防止因松动而烧坏配电变压器低压桩头。

    要使配电变压器长期安全运行，少出故障，作为运行管理人员，一定要做到勤检查、勤维护、勤测量，及时发现问题及时处理，避免故障扩大而烧坏配电变压器
