薯类磨浆分离机是以鲜薯、薯干为主要原料，将这些原料加工成淀粉的一种淀粉加工设备，它一次可以完成粉碎、磨浆、分离三道工序，该机有结构工艺简单，操作方便，省工省力，是一种理想的淀粉加工设备。

华升牌鲜薯淀粉机采用进的锯齿式齿辊，将鲜薯通过高速旋转的齿辊将鲜薯刨成细丝状，且碎渣少，不堵塞过滤网，有利于淀粉的提取，同时锯齿锋利耐磨。淀粉机特殊的浆渣分离装置使刨碎的薯丝通过两次水冲洗，使淀粉和粉渣有足够的时间进行分离，从而提高淀粉的提取率。

操作人员娴熟地掌握设备的性能、机械结构和操作规程后才能上岗作业。操作时，若设备发生故障，应对症采取以下维修和保养措施：

分离机常见故障及排除使用时，磨浆分离机磨片间隙应调整为0.5毫米左右，操作时先拧上部的手柄以使螺旋旋紧，然后回退90度即可；如果刨碎分离和磨浆分离机在工作时出现主轴卡碰，应立即停车检查；若发现轴承损坏应及时更换同型号的轴承；制粉机组工作时，若发现刨碎分离机的电流表长时间处于超载状态，应调整清洗机的喂人量。

特别注意的是：刨碎分离机和磨浆分离机一定要严防铁石等硬杂物进入机内，以免损坏机件。

制粉组合单机上所有的电器设备和传动皮带均不得打湿或进水，以免发生短路或皮带打滑事故；若发现传动皮带打滑应及时调整皮带轮距，使皮带涨紧；清洗机螺旋下的钢丝网使用一定的期限后易损坏，换另一面新齿继续使用；薯类制粉机组停用后，应对整机维修保养，清洗轴承并注足滑润油、脂，所有电器设备均应采取防潮措施，以免影响设备的性能和使用寿命。
