L-Carnosine is a dipeptide (two amino acids) commonly found in organs and tissues such as the brain, heart, skin, muscles, kidneys, and stomach. L-carnosine can activate cells in the human body and resist aging through two mechanisms: inhibiting saccharification and protecting our cells from being damaged by the radicals from the Chemicalbook. The consequences of saccharification are that the cross-linking of sugar molecules and proteins will not be controlled (sugar molecules will stick to proteins), cell function loss and incomplete gene combination will accelerate aging.
